About us

Introduction

The Department of Mass Communication is established at the founding of the university. The establishment of the department echoes the development of broadcasting technology and communication convergence, the advent of the video age, the change of the media industry, and the needs of the society.
Founding purpose: The department aims to train communication professionals with expertise in media arts, a balance of theory and practice, and a broad perspective to meet the needs of national and local development.
 

 

Features

  1. Educational goals are based on theory and centered on practice.
  2. Faculty expertise conforms to the self-positioning, educational goals, and school-running characteristics of the department.
  3. Abundant professional equipment: 10-million-dollar digital virtual studio, 26 high-definition cameras, 54 SLRs (including other 62), internationally accredited EDIUS editing room,international digital audio equipment for ATC, UAV applications, and many more.
  4. The department cooperates with the industry, officials, and universities to arrange relevant teaching activities.
  5. The department is accredited with professional studies of international digital editing and digital recording certifications (EDIUS and MATCC).
