一、通識課程分成核心必修課程、共同必修課程及博雅選修課程。畢業前應依修業規定修滿30學分。

1. General Education (GE) courses comprise three categories: Core Required Courses, Common Required Courses, and Liberal Arts Electives. Students must complete a minimum of 30 GE credits prior to graduation, in accordance with the academic regulations.

二、核心必修課程包括「生命教育」/2學分(2小時)，合計2學分。

2. The Core Required Courses consist of “Life Education” / 2 credits (2 hours), totaling 2 credits.

三、共同必修課程包括「體育(一)」/2學分(2小時)、「體育(二)」/2學分(2小時)、AI人工智慧設計/2學分(2小時)，合計6學分。

3. The Common Required Courses consist of “Physical Education I” / 2 credits (2 hours), “Physical Education II” / 2 credits (2 hours), and “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Design” / 2 credits (2 hours), totaling of 6 credits.

四、博雅選修課程分成「外國語文」、「應用科技」、「人文藝術」、「社會科學」及「健康促進」五大領域，每領域至少修習1門。

4. Liberal Arts Electives are organized into five domains: “Foreign Languages,” “Applied Science and Technology,” “Humanities and Arts,” “Social Sciences,” and “Health Promotion.” Students are required to complete at least one course in each domain.

五、學生修習外國語文領域之本國母語相關課程，其學分認列以4學分為上限。

5. For courses within the Foreign Languages domain that are related to a student’s own native language, no more than 4 credits may be recognized toward graduation requirements.

六、限外國學生修讀華語課程，修課及格並考獲教育部華語文能力測驗B1以上等級取得通過證明，列計通識學分。

6. Mandarin Chinese (Huayu) courses are restricted to international students. Credits from such courses shall be counted toward General Education requirements only if the student both passes the course and obtains a certificate of passage at Level B1 or higher on the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) administered by the Ministry of Education.

七、「在地鏈結創新跨域微學程」至少修讀8學分，且修習通過者，始得申請微學程證明。但「竹塹風華」、「客家采風」、「台灣地方文化藝術」、「台灣原住民宗教與文化」屬同一博雅領域課程，擇一門認列。

7. Students must complete at least 8 credits in the “Local Engagement and Interdisciplinary Innovation Micro-Program,” and only those who successfully complete this requirement are eligible to apply for the Micro-Program Certificate. Please note that“Hsinchu Culture (竹塹風華),”“Introduction to Hakka Culture(客家采風),”“Taiwan Local Culture and Art (台灣地方文化藝術),”and“Religions and Culture of Taiwan Aborigines (台灣原住民宗教與文化),” are classified within the same Liberal Arts domain; therefore, only one of these courses may be recognized for credit.

八、「新竹地方文化與社會實踐微學程」至少修讀8學分，且修習通過者，始得申請微學程證明。但「竹塹風華」、「台灣地方文化藝術」屬博雅領域課程，擇一門認列。

8. Students must complete at least 8 credits in the “Hsinchu Local Culture and Social Practice Micro-Program,” and only those who successfully complete this requirement are eligible to apply for the Micro-Program Certificate. Please note that “Hsinchu Culture (竹塹風華) ,”“Taiwan Local Culture and Art (台灣地方文化藝術)”are classified as Liberal Arts domain courses; therefore, only one of these courses may be recognized for credit.

九、「地方創生與跨域實踐學分學程」至少修讀15學分。課程科目表中列屬同一欄位課程，視為具相同學習目標與能力培養內涵，學生僅需擇一修習通過並認列學分；修習二門以上者，僅得認列一門學分。

9. Students must complete at least 15 credits in the “Regional Revitalization and Cross-Disciplinary Practice Credit Program.” Courses listed within the same column of the program’s curriculum table are deemed to share identical learning objectives and competencies; students are therefore required to pass only one such course in order to receive credit. If a student completes two or more courses from the same column, only one course will be recognized for credit.

十、國防課程，不列計為通識學分及畢業學分。

10. National Defense courses shall not be counted as General Education credits, nor toward the total credits required for graduation.

十一、學生得跨院系修習4學分以內專業課程，列計為通識學分。

11. Students may take up to 4 credits of specialization courses from other colleges or departments, and such credits may be counted toward General Education requirements.

十二、各學系學生修讀所屬學系列舉之通識排除課程及跨院系通識排除課程，不列計為通識學分。

12. General Education credits shall not be granted for any courses that a student’s own department has designated as GE-excluded, nor for any cross-college or cross-department courses that appear on the GE-excluded list.

十三、科目前方標示「*」為進階課程，限二年級以上(含)者修讀。

13. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) before the course title are advanced courses and are restricted to students in their second year or above.

十四、身心障礙或身體狀況不宜修讀「體育」必修課程，分別經學生生活輔導暨職涯發展中心或課外活動暨體育衛保組證明者，得依玄奘大學通識必修替代課程修課說明，選修「適應體育」課程替代。

14. Students with disabilities or with health conditions that make them unsuitable for the required Physical Education courses may, upon obtaining certification from either the Student Counseling and Career Development Center or the Extracurricular Activities and Physical Education & Health Center, take “Adapted Physical Education” in lieu of the standard course, in accordance with the Hsuan Chuang University Substitution Policy for Required General Education Courses.

十五、其他修業規定，依各院系之規範。

15. All other academic regulations shall be governed by the specific requirements of the relevant college and department.
